Workshop "SmartCity - Digitisation in municipalities"

Under the motto "Innovation, practical orientation and implementation belong together", a workshop for representatives of the surrounding communities took place on Wednesday afternoon of March 13 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the rooms of the Carl Stahl Akademie in Süßen. About 20 participants accepted the invitation of Edgar Wolff, district administrator of the district Göppingen and Reiner Lohse of the Wirtschafts- und Innovationsfördergesellschaft für den Landkreis Göppingen (WIF), as well as Martin Munz of Carl Stahl Süd GmbH location Süßen as host.

Anyone interested in digitisation and innovation management in municipalities was a target group for this workshop. In particular, managers and users in process management (e.g. (mayor), district, city and municipal councils, heads of offices (e.g. schools, real estate, main office, etc.), managers of their own businesses, building yard managers, fire brigade commanders, etc.).

Following the welcoming address by Carl Stahl Managing Director Andreas Urbez, District Administrator Edgar Wolff addressed his greeting to the participants. Within the framework of impulse lectures lasting between 10 and 20 minutes, the focus was on practically relevant and realizable topics. Beginning with Fabian Kehle, managing director of dockzwoelf GmbH from Ludwigsburg on the subject of "Innovation management in municipalities and LivingLaB Ludwigsburg as an example", through Lukas Mürdter from Pusch-Data GmbH from Salach on the subject of "IT in the tension triangle - middleman between school, carrier and country", Martin Munz, Business unit developer of Carl Stahl Süd GmbH, Süßen, on the subject of "Integrated Services - Digital Service Process with Gmünder Stadtwerke as an example", up to Armin Maier, FireCircle training platform from Donzdorf, on the subject of "FireCircle the training platform for the modern fire brigade and municipal enterprises". The entertaining and compact lectures gave the representatives of the municipalities a current overview of already successfully running projects. The benefit for the participants was to gain new impulses from the field of digitization and innovation management in municipalities, to learn from and with each other, to gain insights into the working reality of other users and at the end of the event a networking and get-together with exchange of information. At the end of the event, host Martin Munz drew his personal positive conclusion: "The event was a complete success. Carl Stahl in particular was able to convince numerous participants of the benefits of Carl Stahl Integrated Services. The exchange of information during the breaks has also contributed to a positive overall picture."
